Forbidden Island Tiki Lounge

A responsive site we designed for Forbidden Island.

Just a few years ago the biggest challenge in designing a website was trying to get it to look good in Internet Explorer. Although that’s still a challenge, the rise of mobile device usage means that web developers aren’t just programming for the desktop any longer; we’re also developing for phones and tablets in myriad different shapes and sizes.

One day, in the not-too-distant future, mobile usage will exceed that of desktop. Several prominent employees at Google have already predicted that mobile queries to the search giant will exceed the desktop variety this year (2014). Combine that with the increasing use of mobile browsers – now at 30% market share and rising – and the need to have a website that serves all users is more important than ever before.

Our development philosophy for responsive website design remains the same as it has always been; we’ll work with you to create a website that professionally represents your company which you can be proud of and manage yourselves. We’ll use your data to determine how to construct the site, and kick it up a notch with great features like a ShiftNav Mobile Menu. After your new site has been launched we can help monitor the browsing activity of your users and provide recommendations for further optimization. We’re here for you before, during and after we work on your project.
